Bar Basquiat, was inspired by the street art legend Jean-Michel Basquiat, one of the most celebrated American artists of the 20th century.  You can see the style and feel of this artist reflected in the looks and decorations of the bar and the menu.

Bar Basquiat offers a great breakfast/lunch selection with salads and sandwiches, suitable for both, meat eaters and vegetarians. The evening menu has great selection of delicious street food, local beers, vines and cocktails.

Location

Bar Basquiat is located in the east of Amsterdam, on the Javastraat street. You can reach it directly from the central station just using one tram (number 22) in about 20 min or by bike, which will be around 10 min.

Visiting tips

  • Bar is open 7 days a week, from morning until late night
  • We would advise reserving a table Friday or Saturday nights, otherdays it is not necessary
  • Plenty of vegetarian/vegan food options
