Markerhuisje is a cosy cafe located in real old dutch style house. Most of it's charm comes from the beautiful interior design, exposed wooden beam roof, vintage furniture, most beautiful vintage tableware and fresh flowers. It feels like stepping into the home of a very stylish grandmother. I absolutely love the atmosphere in his cafe.
They offer an excellent afternoon tea menu that includes various savoury and sweet dishes, a great selection of teas and prosecco or wine. If you want to pop up for lunch, they also offer a great lunch menu, their eggs Benedict are especially nice. They also serve a range of snacks, perfect to pair with a glass of local wine or beer.
For bigger groups it is possible to reserve the whole bottom floor with a large table and all the privacy you need.
When the weather is good you can enjoy your lunch and drinks on the terrace on the waterfront, it’s a great place to get that tan you wanted!
